Would you consider a financial donation to kick off the success
of my 5th year?

The most valuable resource for an artist is time. But paid time to spend making art isn't something that our culture values, even if we value the work we see. As a self-producing, full-time artist, I work most with the details of creating community through performance, not on the art. I'm emailing, calling, making relationships with colleges and theaters and other artists, writing grants, organizing community talks with total strangers in far-off cities, sending out press kits, booking travel, following up with presenters to make sure I did as good a job as I wanted to.... There's very little time to spend writing and rehearsing, or learning and trying out new skills—which is just as vital to the work you see as organizing those shows and community events.

You can help me with this Catch-22, if you would be willing to make a financial donation. A little goes a long way for the itinerant performer-writer-educator—any contribution you make will immediately carve out time for me to make more of the art you have enjoyed. Donating to any individual artist is as close as you can get to making art without doing it yourself. So...wanna collaborate?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CONSIDERING IT.
